About Wells Of Living Water International Church Planting Ministry

Wells of Living Water International (WOLWI) Church Planting ministry is the fulfillment of the drilling ministry that is to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and obey the Great Commission. After drilling for several years in Piura, Peru and evangelizing we found little evidence of spiritual impact to the communities we had drilled a successful water well. We then moved to plant a church in the communities where WOLWI was able to establish a successful water well where no church previously existed in the village.

Piura, Peru is in the northern deserts of Piura and there are at least 1000 small towns without water.

WOLWI church planting movement has started more than 10 churches. As of today, we have 5 growing churches. We support the plant by modestly supporting the church planters with $200 a month, helping the congregation purchase land and assisting to build small worship centers. Two churches have started in the last few years with the anticipation that WOLWI will be drilled. WOLWI Church planting strategy is based on making healthy disciples that make multiplying disciples, who make healthy growing churches. We work to establish praying healthy churches, train leader, and visit them at least once a year. Church Planters send us monthly reports on ongoing activities to include service attendance, children’s ministries, conversion, baptisms. WOLWI support new churches in many ways. We are completing a bathroom for a church in Tambogrande, Piura, that will be the only bathroom in the village. Our support is ongoing. We have established “not for profit” state approved organization both in North Carolina and Piura, Peru in order to facilitate the send and accountability of resource.

For us, spiritual water is as urgent and necessary as drinking water. We believe we can be part of the fulfillment of the Lords promise as stated by the prophet. We invite churches, parachurch organizations and individuals to help us continue to extend the Kingdom of the Lord with resources. We will continue to drill water wells and establish new churches depending on the God who is our primary supporter. We invite you to join the movement of the Holy Spirit in the desert communities of Piura, Peru. We invite churches to vision trips or short mission trips. Medical missions and construction teams are welcome. Our goal is that a stateside church can sponsor one of the church plants in Piura, Peru. We have had shoe drives and school supply projects. Mostly we need your prayers for the ministry. We invite potential supporters to see and join us in this ministry. We anticipate more church plants as we continue to drill water wells and we need more help in our pursuit to glorify God.
